“ Today, on my first visit, I ordered the boneless chicken with fries and was impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. I’d say that two people could have had a good snack, just with what I ordered for myself. The food is prepared after you order. So, there aren’t bins of chicken and fries sitting under heat lamps at Von’s. When I opened the takeout container in which my food had been served, there wasn’t a pool of cooking oil at the bottom, which indicated the amount of attention paid by the cooks regarding the appearance of the food from the customer’s point of view. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and I believe that they will be a regular stop for me when my workday is done. ”
“ I am just here from California visiting my son and his family and was looking for a place that had food my four year old would eat, after playing at the Children’s Discovery Center all morning. Von’s menu looked perfect so we did a really short drive there. I think we were there near closing but the staff were really very sweet and helpful and attentive. I highly recommend them! ”
“ I ordered garlic chicken and crispy fried chicken with fried seasoned rice cake. My local friends are so happy with real Korean Fried Chicken lol ”
“ Love this location, the food is always so fresh and the restaurant is clean. I’ve been to a majority of all the other Vons and this one is by far the best! I got the spicy seasoned wings because it’s always my go to. ”
“ Snow fries in substitution from rice with spicy chicken wings are the best! I asked if I can wash my hands on their sink because their restroom is closed and the cashier was happy to accommodate that and provided me a napkin too. ”
“ I used to visit the Vons on Pensacola street...this Korean Fried Chicken (kfc) shop is one of the originals in hawaii. Meaning before the Korean chicken popularity came to hawaii...they were one of the first. Since I was nearby I decided to visit this location. Menu is slightly different, ex #4 was boneless chicken and fries. The other location only had boneless chicken plates. Anyways, got #4 with shoyu boneless chicken, it's my favorite. I have friends that enjoy the bone in chickens. It's up to you. The shop is small, I'm assuming during the week most will buy to-go. What's interesting is they have a restaurant in restaurant. Apparently a small sign on the side says J & J with a menu of 5 plates for $10.99 to $15.99. Regardless, service was nice and friendly. No issues while I ordered and wait. ”
